Donation Information
Adopt-A-Pet receives no government financial support and is NOT affiliated with any other animal rescue organizations in the Fargo-Moorhead area. We rely solely on private donations, fundraising events, and adoption fees to continue operations. These funds help cover the cost of food, medical supplies, and veterinary expenses. We are 100% funded by your donations.

- Gift Cards can also be donated by sending them to the mailing
address or brought to one of our Adoption Days events. We typically
purchase supplies from the following local merchants:
- Target
- Kmart
- Wal-Mart
- Fleet Farm
- Tractor Supply Company (TSC)
- Petco
- You can buy or sell items on eBay where the percentage of
the proceeds go to Adopt-A-Pet:
Donations of supplies may be dropped off at our Adoption Days Events. Or, they can be dropped off at Repeat Boutique. Repeat Botique is now offering to be a drop off site for donations of dog and cat food, toys, litter, treats and blankets for Adopt-A-Pet. They are located at 2551 45th Street South in Fargo right behind Famous Dave’s. Their phone number is 701-364-3888. Repeat Boutique is an upscale thrift store that the Red River Human Services Foundation benefits from their sales of donated gently used and new merchandise. The bin is located in the entry way of the store.

- Any clumping litter
- Dry cat food (Purina, Iams,Science Diet)
- Tall scratching posts or cat trees
- Coupons for litter and food items listed above. You can drop these off with us at an Adoption Days event, or mail them to our P.O. Box listed below.
- Leashes, collars, dishes for water and food
- Dog pillows
- Rawhide bones and chews
- Paper Towels
- Laundry Detergent
- Stamps
- Bleach
- Blankets
