Hi, my name is Scrappy. I am a neutered male Beagle and am almost 5 years old. Yes, I am missing my
right eye but don't worry, I'm used to not having it. You see, I lost it to glaucoma when I was just a
wee pup of 5 months old. I love people and I love to sit on laps and cuddle. I have lived my whole life at
NDSU 's Veterinary Technology Program with lots of other beagles in the pack. Don't worry, no
experiments have been done on me. Well, because I have lived in a pack where there is an alpha male, I
have become very defensive about my personal space and other dogs because the pack likes to pick on
me from my blind spot. Cats make me nervous too. I have a good human friend who has been working
with me and my fear issues towards other dogs stemming from my missing eye and the other beagles.
With some work we believe I will do well with other dogs, but I should live in a home with no other
animals to begin with. I would love to come live with you! Thank you for your time. -Scrappy
