| Mikey is a young male Lab/Spaniel type of mix, likely born in early December. He was found abandoned with his sister,
Princess, in the Hitterdahl,
MN area in mid-January. Princess has moved on to her
forever home, but Mikey is still looking for his.
He will likely be a
medium sized dog in the 40 lb range. He is very lean,
athletic, and light on his feet. He is a sweet, gentle
dog who loves
to play with other dogs and does great with cats as
well. He loves to play and will fetch a ball or rope
or any other toy as long as you want to play with him.
He loves to carry a toy in his mouth, especially a stuffed
toy. When going outside or coming in from outside, he
always looks for something to
carry with him. He has a gentle mouth and birds in the
backyard catch his interest. While his foster family
are not hunters, he seems to have some characteristics that
may align with hunting birds. He
is crate trained and doing good with house training. He's
doing basic obedience with his foster brother and sister and
is doing good. He is very easy to walk and would love
to have a walking or running partner. When it's time
to sit down and relax, he is more than happy to snuggle up
with your. He has
lots of personality and is a wonderful, loving dog. |
