Harper is a neutered male Siberian Husky /Standard Poodle cross (obviously a
distinctive combination). He was born in the winter of 2004-2005. He is playful and
energetic and wants LOTS of TLC. He is shown with a haircut in these pictures, but
could have longer hair, if someone is willing to brush him regularly.
Anyone who has followed our website has seen that Harper was posted for quite
some time. We have put him back up - he is still in need of his forever home! The
family has recently lost their garage to a fire. This was Harper's shelter as he is an
outdoor dog. He would love to have a 6 foot fence where he could run and play and
not have to be tied to a cable. Where he is at there is only a 4 foot fence and he
can jump over it so he has to be on a cable. He gets along well with other dogs -
but is shy of people. Harper needs someone that can take him in and give him TLC
and be patient with him - it probably wouldn't take much for him to warm up to
someone. Harper is about 3 years old. He has been outside but from what I hear
he does OK inside and loves to be by people.
