Finnegan is a neutered male Lab/Pointer/Blue Heeler cross dog, birth date 11/7/02, He is a powerful dog at
25" and 70 lbs. Finnegan is house-trained. He is used to being free in the house during the day and has
never been a chewer. Finnegan has a lot of energy and will need to go to a home with a fenced yard and
people who can lavish him with attention. He has had some obedience training, but will need to be
consistently rehearsed, not only for the behavior reminders, but because he loves to work and practice!!
Because of his size and energy, Finnegan is not a good choice for a family with children. He gets along with
one of his foster sisters but tends to challenge larger dogs. He might like to go to a home with another dog
to keep him company and play with him but would do well by himself. His behavior with cats and other
animals is unknown. Finnegan is leery of strangers and tend to just watch new people until he has a chance
to check them out.
