Rocket is a spayed female kitten who was
approximately 6 months old on Sept. 20. She
is a black short-haired kitten with some
white hairs on her neck and a larger white
spot on her belly between her back legs.
Rocket and her 3 siblings were orphaned at 3
weeks of age when their mom was hit by a
car on Easter Sunday. They were hand reared
and bottle fed from until they were seven
weeks old.

Rocket is a very people oriented and
personable cat, while cuddly and purry at
night. Rocket is long and lean like her
brothers Bashful and Buddy.  She likes to lie
on her foster mom's chest and give cat
kisses and nuzzles on the mouth.  She is an
active, young cat and loves cat nip toys, toys
with bells in them, and especially the laser
pointer.  Rocket will do the bird chatter while
she watches the laser light toy.  Rocket has
been introduced to dogs and does not seem
fearful of them.  Rocket loves food (including
people food), and is very interested in what
the humans are eating.  Rocket can be a
handful when she is in play mode.  She is
very bonded with her brothers, and would
enjoy going to her new home with one of
them, either
Bashful or Buddy.
